For people living in the civil parishes of Ireby/Uldale, Boltons, Westward, Caldbeck, Sebergham, Castle Sowerby and Mungrisdale.
Many people locally have very good family and friends support systems but sometimes extra neighbourly support can help people who are ill or disabled .
The Northern Fells Lend a Hand Group is a group of volunteers with the aim of giving neighbourly help to anybody who, due to ill health or disability, is in need of help, i.e. anyone of any age with temporary or chronic ill health or disability, and their carers.
